urgent help!!

i updated my iphone to ios 5.0.1 the otherday jailbroken. yesterday it stopped charging when plugged in. tryed numorus wires. nothing. now i need to restor. the computer whont reconized it at all. not even in dfu mode nuthning!!! im so lost ive never had this bad of a problem b4. i only have acces to a computer for the day....

Hi there.

Have you tried doing a hard reset? (Holding down the power and home buttons at the same time, until the phone shuts off and then reboot?) Do this twice in a row.

Why would you do PWN dfu? Are you using a custom ipsw? If not there is no need. When you plug it in to an outlet does it charge?

yes its a custom firmwear. no it dose not charge i tryed numorous cords and such.

it reconizes my av cable and it charges when i power it off...

wha if i downloaded wi fi sync would that help? i acceidently turned off wi fi sync from itunes... i ant turn it back on now..... (((

Is this still the case? If yes, try "Tinyumbrella" (google it) and some of the other tools at that website to see if you can DFU and restore...

Also try Ireb to boot recovery, maybe it will recognize the phone.

Also are you using activator?? Try resetting your activator settings to default if you are.

nope uninstalled activator.

ireb says failed to enter dfu mode even though my phone is in dfu mode....

i even tryed compleately erasing my iphone with erase all content and settings and it didnt do anything....

could i be missing daemons?

Should not do erase all content when you are jailbroken...

i know but it seems like its a software issue. a daemon is missing or something when currup. nothing software repated seems to work. has no one else at all ever had this happen? anything simmular or anything? aanyone.....

This is not a software issue, it looks like your USB dock connector it's lose, open your iPhone if you know how and reconnect the USB port, if still doesn't work you will have to replace the USB port if you don't know how to fix it go to my eBay website and purchase a Mail-In service so I can fix it for you.,

if it was the usb port then my fm transmitter or video cable wpuldent work. this is weird no one has really had this happen b4? is there a site i cpuld get live help at? or whayt if i treated this lkke a bricked iphone. it almost is....

Did you try tiny umbrella? It is amazing for fixing problems.
