Video playback problems

i have a i4 and on 5.0.1 i just put some videos on the phone that i had saved from my old phone but when i watch them they are stuck in the view mode that i took them in...

like i cant watch a video i took in potrait mode in landscape mode and viceversa?

but it works if i record the video with my iphone

Hmm, what's the video format? Maybe you'll need to do some conversion.
I don't have many video playing problem, as I have got a nice enolsoft video convert from mac app store, if can't play on my iPhone or iPad, it can do converting for me well~
