    The service provider has nothing to do with your ability to jailbreak. What you have to watch is if your handset is currently locked to another SP and won't accept the new network sim after jailbreak. Also watch out for the model of the iPhone. The iPhone 4 is untethered but 4S isn't (yet), again just to be aware of this if you're getting a new contract!

    all depends what firmware and baseband the iphone 4 is currently at. this will determine if it can be unlocked and with what method.

    I see. the reason is i have read that iphones will not work on providers that do not support GSM. I know that it isnt a problem to jailbreak any iphone but 4s, but will i be able to use an jailbreak iphone on a tmobile to go providers ( Prepaid Cell Phones | No Contract Cell Phone Plans | T-Mobile )
