Default Upgrading from iOS 4.0.1 to 5.0.1 on an already jailbroken phone?

My iPhone 4 is currently jailbroken with iOS 4.0.1. I want to upgrade it to iOS 5.0.1. Is there any way for me to do this without needing to use itunes and having to re-jailbreak it?

I just want to try to find a way to not have to reinstall Cydia and all the non supported Apple apps if I can avoid it.

Any guides or information/suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

You wouldn't want to restore all your cydia apps anyways because alot of old apps aren't compatible with iOS5, this will cause you more problems.
