Default ipod app will not load. any ideas?
    iphone 3GS 4.1 limerain untethered
I havent done anything different other than i synced not to long ago. Today i tried to load the Ipod app and the screen just turns white then a minute later it closes.

not sure how to try and fix this. have been thinking about jumping through the hoops to go up to 4.3.

Anyone ever heard of this before? how do i restore just the ipod app?

    thanks

Did the reboot a couple of times. not aware of a "hard reset" will have to look it up and try it.

Did both. Neither worked. Ipod still just comes up as white screen then closes.

    Odd

Try syncing to itunes and letting a Full sync process.
    1. plug into itunes
    2. let it sync(don't stop anything)
    3. let whatever apps/new music/photos..etc; update
    4. Don't launch the ipod app yet but when it's done syncing do a hard Reboot also known as a hard reset.
Hold the power button along with the home button until the screen goes black AND the apple logo pops up.

    Hope this helps.
