For any devs out there I beseech you! Ever since I upgraded my 3GS and my 4S to iOS 5.0.1 the bluetooth no longer works. If you google iphone bluetooth problem you'll find some youtube videos that show what I mean, but I'll describe it:

When turning on bluetooth in the settings app you will see the bluetooth icon in the status bar. Upon exiting the app or backing out of the bluetooth section, the bluetooth icon will disappear and bluetooth will be deactivated. Also it will not see any devices that it can be paired with, or have been paired with in the past.

I called Apple care support and they were largely unhelpful. Of the 3 phones that have iOS 5+ have this issue; 2 iPhone 4s's and a 3GS.

So here's my REQUEST to the devs out there or tweak makers, if you will; can someone design a fix for this? Apple somehow changed the BTstack in iOS 5. I'm really hoping a dev catches this and that other's have this problem. It doesn't just affect earpieces, but bluetooth tethering like tetherme and mywi.

Does anyone else have this problem with Bluetooth in iOS 5 or above??
