Do You Need to Activate after Updating to 5.0.1?

Hey guys, I saw that TinyUmbrella was updated for 5.0.1 on 4S, so my question is, I'm on 5.0 on the 4S, ATT, and thinking of updating to 5.0.1. However, I'm currently out of the country (in China where I have no service), and would like to know if I need to activate my phone after the update, and if so, do I need to have service to update or will it work if I just plug into iTunes, even though I'm out of the country?

Definitely update to 5.0.1 ASAP if you plan on jb next week, you can do it from your phone or itunes its obviously smarter to do it on the phone and no you wont need to do any activating anything the phone will turn back on after a few like regular
