reset all settings
help-did a reset all settings
and now the iPhone gives me option for language, country, wifi network and then choose to setup as a new iphone or restore from backup.
So I press restore from backup and it says: connect to itunes and when i do that, nothing happens on the iphone BUT itunes recognizes my iphone and even synchs it.
What should i do so i can open it?
It looks like its still jailbroken bc androidlock XT gives me a message when i open the iPhone.
Any idea??
I'd rather not do a restore if possible...

Did you even backup first before doing all this? Looks like you went to settings app & just reset all settings.

It should see it as normal. Nothing changed except the settings. Just backup on iTunes then restore from backup.

and i guess I have to rejailbreak? and install all cydia tweaks again?

Don't do this as you will save the current state which you don't want
Instead through it into Recovery Mode (need help ask)
Then update it
Did this by any chance happening after you did a restore from a previous iPhone to this one? As in if you just got a new phone did you restore it to the backup of the ok one? I just went through this is why I ask

everything was working normally and then I read about a fix for the battery issue which for me is terrible and they said to do a reset on all settings so i did that and this is what happened... (i didnt think this should happen so i did no backup right now)
and yes, it is my iphone.
oh and BTW I'm a SHE lol.
i have an official unlocked phone (thats how u buy them in Europe)
so what do I do in the end?

If its coming up in iTunes ya phone click it and then right click it and hit backup. After that's done click on restore and it will bring ya phone back to 5.0.1 again
