    Default Iphone 4 stuck loading

I'm on 4.3.x and I opened cydia, it popped saying essential upgrade so i did and up respring it froze. So i hard reset it and now i've been stuck at apple logo for ever. I tried "just boot" and "recovery fix" from redsn0w and both never finish. Either it finally restarts and gets stuck at apple logo or it gets stuck at the pineapple logo. I'm not really worried about losing much but the photos, I just took a bunch of christmas photos and haven't got them all off. I can't SHH right now because my wifi is down. Any other ways to fix this so I can backup my photos?

just a random idea that may or may not work but try iBooty for 4.3.X. Like I said it may or may not help but something to try while you wait for a better reply.

Just tried ibooty, it says it's done but it didn't even get it out of DFU mode. Thanks for the idea though.

Now when I try DFU mode it boots to the "connect to itunes" screen. am I SOL?

Not yet. Nothing is lost yet, until you restore with itunes. You can wait it out and see if anyone else has advice or go ahead and restore.

I just tried to jailbreak with redsn0w and it all seemed to go fine, but when it was done and the phone restarted it went into the boot loop again.

    Found a fix:

Download a stock (unmodified) copy of redsn0w for Mac or Windows. (On Windows, don't forget to set compatibility modes.)

Select "Jailbreak". When you get to the step involving "Install Cydia", uncheck all boxes, but then select "Install Custom Bundle".

Download http://cache.saurik.com/jailbreakqa/cb-399x-1.tgz and select it (it will replace /etc/launchd.conf with an empty file). [If your device was jailbroken with JailbreakMe, use this file instead: http://cache.saurik.com/jailbreakqa/cb-399x-3.tgz ] Don't unzip the file, just use it.

Run this copy of redsn0w, select Jailbreak, and then do what you normally would do. This will deactivate Substrate and Corona.

Reboot your device the way you normally would, taking into account that Corona will be uninstalled. AFAIK, other untethers will not be affected by this process, but Corona will definitely stop working.

Give me a syslog of what happened (see here for how to access the syslog), as there is some extension out there that is incompatible with Substrate, and we need to figure out what it is. You can email the syslog to [email protected], and make sure to include a note saying what device you have, what iOS version it has, and what jailbreak you used to jailbreak it.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I pretty much gave up on it and happen to check my thread on last time before doing a restore. I did what you said and it worked PERFECT!
