Should I Upgrade iPhone 4s to 5.0.1??

Title says it all really. Seeing as the 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak for non a5 devices is out, would it be safe for me to upgrade my 4s to 5.0.1? Or should I stick to 5.0? Yes I do have shsh's saved for 5.0.1 but not 5.0 since I was too late.

I wouldn't doubt that the jailbreak will be on 5.0.1 like they release today. They prob will skip 5.0 so might as well upgrade

It would actually be in your best interest to get to 5.0.1 now before apple releases a update to kill the latest untethered jailbreak that came out today. If/when it comes out for the 4S 5.0.1 is the firmware you will want to be on.

yeah, p0sixninja urges people to update to 5.0.1 while you can, yes even A5 devices, but as far as I know there is a new baseband for iphone 4S on it, so if there might be a window to unlock the 4S I don't want to loose it like I did with my iphone 4. it would help to know if the scene is working on an unlock for baseband 1.0.11 or 1.0.13? since I remember a tweet by musclenerd saying that he was making progress on a 4S unlock back in november before 5.0.1... what to do?

Yes it up grade mines from 5.0.1(9a405) - 1.0.13 to 5.0.1 (9a406). 1.0.14.my iPhone4s is factory unlocked by apple
