Default Boot tethered on Windows and Mac?
Quick question before I go and mess my phone up here at work!

I performed a tethered jailbreak on iOS 5.0.1 at home using redsnow 0.9.9b9 on my MAC.

I am now at work for the next 25 hours and I would like to reboot my phone but I do not want to be stuck on the semi-tethered mode.

My question is; Can I boot tethered from the Windows version of redsnow 0.9.9b8 here at work or will it not work due to me initially using my Mac to jailbreak?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

interesting question. i tried to do a redsn0w jailbreak on my mac. no good. finally, after several experiments, i cooked a 5.0.1 ipsw on windows, then copied it to a memory stick. i then loaded the ipsw on my mac and restored my phone, jailbroken. then i took my phone back to my windows pc and booted with ibooty. that got to be a bit much. so i restored to the stock ipsw for hassle-free phone use. of course, this means i have no cydia. i'll wait. i just mess around with my wife's phone which is still on 4.1. best wishes at work!
