Songs on my iPhone sound like a scratched CD

Can someone please help me out? I have a iPhone 4 on 5.0 jailbroken. Just recently it has started to play songs and have a skip in every song at about 10 sec intervals. I have tried everything from freeing up memory, rebooting, respringing, reducing the size of my library and resyncing....and in the end no damn luck. Anyone have any ideas? I really need to get this fixed because it is my main source of entertainment when I'm in the hospital. Thanks.

Hi. I had the same problem with the music skipping and tom-tom voice skipping too. I remove my music and reinstalled it with no luck. I have an iPhone 4 on 4.3.3 jailbroken. I removed Hands-free control from Cydia And the music is not skipping any more. Maybe this will help.

Hope anyone has any suggestions!

I installed hands free control from cydia. Worked great for a day then stopped! When I uninstalled it, I lost my ringer, tones and vibrate. Installed it again, and everything is fine. Except when I play music now, it skips every 10 secs or so!

Any suggestions would help. Thanks in advance!
