    Default Unlock

    Is there a way I can go to an apple or AT&T store and have my old iPhone 3G carrier unlocked for like a fee? It's out of contract and all. I plan on letting a friend have it but they aren't "rich" enough for AT&T.

    No. Not if it's locked to AT&T - if you are on an old FW you might be able to unlock with UltraSn0w but not if you have updated your BB.
