Trying to find the right iPhone 3 LCD replacement on eBay....?

There is a lot of gimmicky looking auctions on there for the front LCD touchscreen replacement for the iPhone 4. My g/f broke hers and I wantah to fix it. She got a new 4GS so I have plenty of time to mess around with it and try to replace it myself. Just wondering what tool kit and what LCD I need. I'm looking on eBay but not sure what all I need and which LCD's are the right ones I should buy.
