I have this problem suddenly happening to all my email accounts and none to them are synching saying no password provided for the account goto setting and enter new password. I went to settings and entered the password but it doesnt take the password(obviously I have not changed my password recently and it is exactly the same it is supposed to be). Previously this problem occurred and I did resetting of my network settings and it cleared the problem, but this time that thing is not working too, it again starts having same problem. Any solutions????
I am having the exact same issue. This past week, about half of the email accounts I access via my iPhone started behaving this way. Usually three, sometimes four will pop this message every time I go into Mail to see what new emails I might have.
And, what is really odd, is sometimes this behavior loops. I have seen it happen 3-4 separate times, where the 3-4 accounts go through their "no password provided" message, and when the last one is done, it repeats the cycle, doubling the messages.
Thinking it might be a bug with an older O/S, I went ahead and upgraded to 5.0.1. But that didn't help. I went into the accounts in question, and applied passwords to blank fields - they hadn't been blank originally, needless to say. But after applying them, and using the newly upgraded O/S version, I am still seeing the messages. And occasionally, I still see it loop.
I have reset the phone, to no avail. The only thing I haven't done is delete the accounts, and re-enter them. Any other ideas on how to fix this?
Today when I went to my primary mail account I got the error, invaled password or username. After several attempts I went into settings and entered my password, then chose the same password for the new password, rebooted and it worked. I am on an I4 running 4.3.3
