Steve Jobs iPhone 4/4S back plate - Any difference?

Will it make a difference if I bought an iPhone 4G back plate, but ended up buying an iPhone 4S? Will it still fit, or is there a difference? I couldn't see a difference in the pics but that doesn't necessarily mean there isn't. Or the other way around, if I bought a 4S back plate and got the 4?
