Hello all, this is what's happening.

I got my factory unlocked 4s and i never was able to activate imessages and facetime on my phone number, at first in settings - phone - my number field was unknown, so what i did was put my sim card in an iphone 4 and edited the my number field (since on the 4s i couldn't) after that on the 4s i can now change my number and my phone number appears correctly.

Now also i took my dad's simcard also same company and put it in my 4s where facetime and imessages successfully activated, so i got a new sim card for my number but unfortunately wasn't able to activate.

I took my sim card and put it in my dad's iphone 4, also couldnt activate.

anyone has any idea whats going on or how i can fix it. It is pretty clear that the problem is from the sim card which i got a new one so what is left for me to try.
