    OK,
I tried restoring 3.1.3 whille running TinyUmbrella, it went all the way but then displayed error 1015 and the screen came alive with the message to connect the phone to iTunes to active.
Still the phone in recovery mode

    iYeow,
You are the man ( or the girl if you are ), seriously, you saved my *** from my wife. I'll never volunteer doing anything without making sure 100% I know what I'm doing .

So, used PwnageTool 3.1.5 to build a custom 3.1.3 with 6.15 bb, phone boot nicely everything back to normal.

Now, I can't restore her information that I backed up 24 hours ago (the phone was on 3.1.3 it went again to 3.13). iTunes says the OS is too old. Any idea how to get this done?

    Cheers

So, I followed the good instructions in this post [HOW TO] Fix error "Cannot restore iphone.....software too old" after downgrade to fix the error (OS is toold).

Now, I have a different error: (session could not be started with the iPhone)

Still trying to find out how to get it fixed

After 6 hours of googling and reading, I found that the main reason for this error (session...etc) is that because I updated the phone with a Mac and the backup/restore was done using a PC.

So, I did another attempt to go to 4.3.3 using the PC and then I was successfully able to restore using the PC.

    Cheers,
