Default Can water remove/lessen the oleophobic coating on the display?

Just wondering. Got a screen protector put on my 4S (Zagg's Invisible Shield) and realized I dislike shields on the phone and would like to take it off, but I'm just wondering if the water that's sprayed on the screen could of lessend the oleophobic coating on the screen or not. Thanks in advance.

I've have my iphone 4 four six months with just a bumper case. I rub water on it once a week to clear it. It's just as pristine as the day I got it. I would imagine your fingers will do a lot more wear over the years than water ever could.

Alright, cool cool - was just wondering if that coating would of lessened at all maybe. It's probably fine. I'm also wondering how the glass reacts to over the time scuffs and such, I remember on the 3GS it looked BAD after a years time of having the phone without a case just simply setting it down on surfaces all day every day - wonder if the same thing happens with the iPhone 4 & 4S's.
