please help guys....... ios 5

hi all i have had an iphone 4 for around a week its on 4.3.5, i have just tried to update it to ios 5 and it says 'iphone could not be restored' or something and wont update!!??? its factory unlocked and thats it no jailbrake or anything like that any help would be fantastic

Try to restore first or in some cases try to update on another computer. That usually works

no no matter what i do it wont restore or update, i have updated itunes to 10.5 and only had the phone for about a week!!! so just cant understand it.. its really doing my head in now?????

Since you said it was factory unlocked, did you plan on using AT&T as your carrier of choice? What kind of sim card do you have? I didn't know they sold factory unlocked iPhone 4. As Silverado1987 suggests, try installing on another computer.

i have it on o2, will i loose all my info on it if i install it on another comp?? cheers gaz
