Just installed Ios 5 on non-jailbroken Phone

Its proberly old hat to you guys but hey just in case I thought I would share it.

Ive just downloaded the GM version of iOS 5 and for a giggle thought I would try to install it by using the restore button on itunes (holding a button poss the Mac button? - Im using pc keyboard so its the left alt key) selecting the correct firmware. It all seem dandy and working so far.

Going to have a play round with it now making sure its all good. Just remember to back up everything if your going to do it. I have 2 iphones so it wasnt too risky for me.


Yes I could of just waited but you know I just had to try.
