iPhone 4S Upgrade Question
If I want to buy the iPhone 4S from somewhere other than AT&T, can I just take the SIM card out of my iPhone 4 and put it in the iPhone 4S and start using it normally?

But I thought that's only if I wanted to go to T-Mobile or something? If AT&T is the only GSM provider wouldn't it already work?

If it is a ATT locked iPhone then it will work with your ATT sim.

they sell unlocked phones in november. if you buy one now you will have to wait until there is a jailbreak and then you will have to wait for the unlock. could be as soon as the day it gets delivered, it could never come out, who knows.
