iPhone 4s Pre-Order Question

If i pre-order from apple's online store will I get it on launch day? Or is it better to pre-order and pick up in store?

Store by me said if i order it tonight I'll git it in a couple of days. But they all may be different

I pre-ordered two iPhone 4 units last year the first day pre-orders were allowed. I ordered one from apple.com and one from att.com. Both units showed up at my house the day before they were being sold at the stores.

So, assuming this launch will be similar, if you pre-order tonight and have them shipped to your home, you should have them on launch date, or before.....without ever having to leave your home!
