Default Cannot Start TSS Service DO NOT TRY RESTORING YOUR DEVICE!!!

    What does this error mean?

I am stuck in a recovery loop and TU will not let me save SHSH or exit recovery!

iPhone 4 (I believe it was running 4.3 tethered).

    All help is appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

It means something on your computer is running that is blocking the same port that tiny umbrella uses for its TSS server. This should not affect you exiting recovery or saving SHSH however.

Could it possibly my anti-virus (AVG)? Every time I try to exit recovery it loops back to recovery. If I try to perform a fix recovery the phone seems to go into DFU or something of that sort (black screen and non-responsive).

What firmware are you trying to restore to?
