Ok I bought this phone off a guy, looks like brand new, its running 4.3.3 firmware 4.10.01 already jailbroken...BUT hes got so much crap on it
I dont want any of it and its stuck in safe mode, so I'd like to just restore it back to 4.3.3 and rejailbreak it. Well this isnt workin so good, I downloaded a restore from iclarified for 433 but anytime I try to restore with itunes i get a 3194 error, update itunes... I already have the
latest version. What the hizzle is goin on? I've done a lil of this before but never had this problem. Anybody have an idea?
Thanks for any help!
I dunno if I even put this in the right place...if not anybody know where I need to go?Last edited by Kyleig; 09-28-2011 at 09:04 PM.

I dont have any SHSH blobs to do this...I already do have tiny umbrella, and I have followed a similar deal with no results. Also I cant seem to get it into DFU mode, it always goes to recovery.

If it's already jailbroken, chances are Cydia has your SHSH blobs. You just need to save them to you hard drive with Tinyumbrella to have a backup.

I would suggest taking a look at your hosts file.

Click Start – search for “Notepad“, right-click and select “Run as Administrator“. This should launch notepad with elevated privileges. Now, open the host file from the File menu, (C
Windows\System32\drivers\etc) edit by removing all customizations and save.

A much easier way to edit your hosts is to use tiny umbrella. It can edit your hosts to point to cydia or Apple based on the option in advanced that says "set hosts to cydia on exit".
