should have upgraded from 4.0.1 to 4.3.3 or not?

Hi all,

I just got the ip4 for my little bro, it's at 4.0.1 and jb and unlocked. should I upgrade to 4.3.3 and jb again or 4.0.1 should be fine?
the 4.0.1 that I notice now is doesn't have Personal HotSpot option other than that I dont know what else different

No I dont have but I just download tinyumbrella and open up but it not detect the iphone what should I do ?

Well without SHSH you wont be able to go to 4.3.3. Go in cydia on the phone and see what SHSH cydia says you have at the top of the first page.

ok I go to cydia, after refresh data, at the HOME page very top one SHSH showed iOS 4.01, 4.02, 4.1, 4.2.1, 4.33, 4.3.5 .

Well then you have 4.3.3 SHSH. If you do want to update I suggest using pwnage tool or snowbreeze to make a custom 4.3.3 firmware and restore to that in itunes. Do not under any circumstances restore to 4.3.5. That will kill your chances to unlock.

oh, how come tinyumbrella not detect the phone do you know? there is any benefit from upgrade to 4.3.3 other than the personal hotspot feature?

Gamecenter and AirPlay. Not a whole lot difference though no. You may want to stay put until there is a safe 5.0 jailbreak out sometime after 5.0 gets released. That will be a worthy update.

Not sure why tiny umbrella doesn't see your phone. Try running it as admin if you are on windows.
