Cannot Hear sound of the caller on my Iphone 3G
Phone: Iphone 3G
Firmware: 3.1.2
Jailbroken with Black1ra
Issue: Cannot hear sound of the caller, while he/she can hear mine.
I don't know if this may be the cause, but i tried to install a third party app thorugh Itunes and it gave me a error. Since then, i am facing this problem.
I have tired to do the hard reset and plugging unplugging the headphone several times but to no avail.

Restore to 3.1.2 again will solve your problem.

Yes, you need to jailbreak it again, go download 3.1.2 ipsw from iclarified website , run iTunes : shift key + restore and browse to 3.1.2 firmware you just downloaded.

Correct, you can use redsnow 0.9.4 to jailbreak your 3.1.2. You won't be getting any error as your are restoring to the same firmware.
Is your baseband 05.11.07 , then you won't error at 1015 but if you do , the exit recovery from tiny umbrella will help you .

You won't get any error , use either blackrain or redsnow to jailbreak , use only one not both.

After you have restored, activate with your sim and do the jailbreak , very easy just follow the instruction , only then setup your iPhone as new iPhone so you don't transfer your backup from iTunes problem over to the newly restored iPhone.

Download 3.1.2 ipsw onto desktop
Plug iphone in
Run iTunes : shift + restore and browse to stock 3.1.2 ipsw , (make sure you don't just restore)
Successfully restored to 3.1.2, activate by sim
Do your jailbreak
Setup iPhone as new in iTunes.
