Jailbroken iPhone 4
Hey guys! I was wondering if you could help me. I have a jailbroken iPhone 4 and yesterday I downloaded my local cable company app which has allot of cool features. The thing is after working all day today I woke up and it won't launch it keeps showing a pop up saying that my iPhone is jailbroken. Is there any way around this? Thanks in advanced and sorry if this is the wrong forum

It sounds like the app restricts jailbroken phones from using it and that in itself is just something the app is in control of. I don't know of any workarounds. Do you Mes?

Sorry, no. Never heard of this one before.
Different apps check different things.

Yeah I know iBooks does this. It doesn't open books on jailbroken devices unless you're on a certain fw version with a certain patch installed. I had to downgrade to 4.2.6 and use pwnagetool to get my iBooks to work. I don't know if there is anything that is quite so specific to your particular app.

Crazy I agree. And likely an easy fix. Also likely no one has done it or even tried to do it.

I am actually going through their code.. But it's alot of stuff and it's not like they gonna make it clear what part of it is doing this.. Sooo yeah it's gonna take time.. Unless more people get interested in beating this company it may be a while until we find a fix..
