White iPhone Box
Just got my new iPhone today and the box was white. I've only seen the black boxes is this new? Plus my iPhone says Charging... Please Wait and it looks like its frozen when I try to restart it nothing happens. Is this normal?

iPhone in a white box means it's refurbished.
2nd hand and fixed by apple to resale

Hmm...my refurb came in a black box, just like the original one did. Kinda hard to take this thread seriously without any sort of photos.

Does the White Box say "Apple Certified" on the top? My refurb came in a White box.

K hopefully I put up the pics correctly. And yeah it does say apple certified and on the second picture the really small writing says
"Apple Certified Refurbished" then below it says it in french.
So I called apple they said I can return it. I already unlocked it, what should I do :S I don't like the fact that it was broken at one point
*edit* I also paid full price for this wtf

Take it back man they jacked your money giving you a refurbished phone. Its there fault. Like the guy said above restore it back to 1.0.2... there are ways to do it in this forum. Also, they probably wont check the software (thought they might.. Im not sure, but I doubt they will). Bottom line, they messed up, go get you a brand new phone.

The thing is Im in Canada so ill have to send it to my uncle in the us, then he has to send it to apple then apple has to send it to him then he has to send the new one to me lol. So that costs a lot of money shipping 3 ways :S

/\ then quit your complaining if when we offer you solutions you keep complaining. maybe u should have made your it was new when u bought it. but i bet all we'll get is more complaining and excuses. you should be happy apple is offering an exchange, its your own fault for buying a refurb.

KK Firstly Im not complaining. Secondly hows it my fault I bought an iPhone and they gave me a refurb. Yes they gave me a refurb when i didnt order one. Thirdly dont be a ****, if ur going to comment be helpful

Yeah it'll take you some time but you knew youd have issues with that when you bought it long distance
At least you'll have a working iPhone when you get it back. And by then even 1.1.1 will probably be cracked.
I'll trade you my iBrick for your long term free replacement any day,Je t'aime encore, Roguette
