Did you use Tiny Umbrella to check which SHSH blobs are available?
SHSH blobs are required to restore any non-current iOS.
Download and run Tiny Umbrella (link below, post #1), advanced tab,
... check 'set Hosts to Cydia', Save SHSH, give it a min to finish;
... uncheck 'set Hosts to Cydia', Save SHSH, give it a min to finish.
... In the General tab, what SHSH versions are displayed?
While you're waiting, re-read the Tiny Umbrella post #1 for valuable info.

What do you see when you plug in your iPhone and open iTunes?

When you click on your 'recent phone' in TU, do you have a 4.3.3 SHSH blob shown?

Does TU show --ANY-- SHSH blobs for your device?
-

no...but i found a file in that path which is mentioned in TU "C
Documents and Settings\koppu\.shsh"

The path is where SHSH blobs (if any) are stored. If it's empty, nothing is saved.
As I said in post #2, an SHSH blob for each iOS version is required. You appear to have none
However, Apple is signing (approving) iOS 4.1. Without other blobs, this is you only choice.

When you restore without an valid SHSH blob, crazy unusual and bad things happen to your device.
I suggest restoring to 4.1, since Apple is currently approving that version.
iTunes 10 or higher is required.
1. Download redsn0w 0.9.6rc8.
2. Run TU, advanced tab, uncheck 'set hosts to cydia on exit', exit TU
3. Recheck hosts file. Delete all lines which contain: gs.apple.com
4. Connect the iPhone, wait a min or so, then hold power + home buttons for 6-8 sec
..... this is a forced power off. Listen for a computer high-low sound
..... If iTunes opens, leave it open. Ignore iTunes until later
5. Run redsnow 0.9.6rc8, select 4.1, select one (1) option, 'just enter pwnd-DFU'
..... follow the count-down timer. Verify successfully entered pwnd-dfu.
6. Open iTunes. Hold shift, press restore, in the new window select 4.1 iOS.
7. If iTunes 10xx error, use TU 'exit recovery' (not fix recovery)
Done. Restored to stock 4.1
8. To jailbreak, run redsnow, check "install Cydia".
