I misread what you said. Yes, I have placed it into that folder and rebooted, although it hasn't done anything as far as "fixing" it goes. I think there is an issue from "restoring from a backup" that's causing Cydia to have these issues. Which is why I'd like to remove it and everything "tied" to it. Then freshly install it.
However, I'm not sure this will fix it. As even an update hasn't.Last edited by IceCold343; 08-30-2011 at 03:49 PM.

Double checked the folder, I guess I didn't noticed "private" in front of var the first time I did it. Rebooting now.
It finished rebooting, now when I open Cydia this is what happens.

Not so bad. Two repos down. Does everything else work?

Just hit "Okay" and now it's "Reloading Data". We'll see what happens.
Alright it finished reloading, it came up and said "4 Essential Upgrades", I pressed "Upgrade Essentials", just waiting to hear from you before I confirm it. Or should I have pressed "Complete Upgrade"?Last edited by IceCold343; 08-30-2011 at 04:11 PM.

I tried doing "Upgrade Essential" and this happens.
"Error: Running
Internal Error, Could no perform immediate configuration (2) on cydia"
Then the screen pops back up, and I selected "Complete Upgrade", yet the same error happens again.
Any ideas?

Cydia's broken! Time for a restore. Nothing left to do except ....
fiddle around for days until finally giving up and restore.
That's my recommendation
Hmm, maybe one last idea: run redsn0w and install Cydia.
Warning... This may be the fatal. Don't do it unless you're prepared to restore.Last edited by Mes; 08-30-2011 at 04:37 PM.

Yes, but it broken. I don't know what happened, but it's broke now.
Start over with a complete restore. Out with the old junk, in with the new.
