Reinstall iTunes and try again. Check your computer, cable, USB (no hub).

@xbox: no haven't tried that. And I'm on iOS 4.3.2 and it's jailbroken and unlocked. It wants me to do a restore which means updating to 4.3.5 but I heard you can't jailbreak that firmware /:
@Mes: will try that now, thanks.Last edited by R.Mortera; 08-19-2011 at 09:23 AM.

Use iFaith v1.3.1 to create a 'pre-signed' firmware of your current iOS 4.3.2.
You can always load this if no SHSH blobs are available.

Perfect
An iFaith pre-signed firmware is a good option to restore the current iOS without saved SHSH blobs.

Thanks for the information Mes
I'll look into how to use iFaith and will begin the process later today once I master the steps.

You're welcome. FYI: iFaith works on most iDevices and most iOS's:
Important to understand that iFaith allows you to restore to your currently installed version ( Now updated to include the use of SAVED tinyumbrella shsh blobs) only, so this is something you'd do to safegaurd yourself in the future should you require a restore but stay at this version. Also no support for iPad2 or old devices (iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G as well as iPhone 3Gs with OLD-BOOTROM).
UPDATE: August 9th, 2011
iFaith v1.3 - Release Notes
For iOS 3.1.x/3.2.x/4.0.x/4.1/4.2.1/4.2.6/4.2.7/4.2.8/4.3/4.3.1/4.3.2/4.3.3
iFaith saves the existing SHSH blobs from the current iOS, creates a pre-signed firmware, and can also create a pre-signed firmware from Tiny Umbrella SHSH blobs.Hey what does iFaith really do? I'm looking into it right now and it seems like it'll only save SHSH blobs?
Note: A pre-signed ipsw does not need TU running to install.Last edited by Mes; 08-19-2011 at 09:39 AM.

Okay so after dumping the blob what do I do?

If you want to restore to it ....
continue and follow the iFaith 'enter pwnd-DFU' mode, use iTunes shift/select the iFaith created firmware ipsw, and restore. If iTunes error 1013/4/5, use Tiny Umbrella exit recovery.
You phone will be stock. Insert an official SIM to activate and use redsn0w to jailbreak.

Aww man /: I wasn't expecting this restoring process, should I just wait for iOS 5 to come out and do a full restore then since I really don't need much on my iPhone and iOS 5 is just a few weeks away. /: my only concern is all my Cydia packages, I don't want them going away and also my apps

Haha. That's what I usually do -- wait until something good, solid, and tested

Just like you, it's takes me a long time to get everything set-up after a restore.
BTW: Don't expect the 5.0 jb right-away. Apple is sure to add a bunch of anti-jailbreaking code in the final released version.

I'll just go with waiting for the iOS 5. I can't go thru a few days of getting all my themes, apps, tweaks etc back in this phone lol.
And yeah I agree but our developers will soo find a way to getting rid of those codes and jailbreaking them
Anyways thank you so much for the information and help. Sorry if I wasted your time /: wasn't my intention to. If I ever go thru this problem I'll make sure to go thru this thread again (if its still here :P) and fix my problem. Thanks so much.

No problem. You're welcome.
I would go ahead with iFaith. It doesn't change anything
and you've got one-more future restore option.
At the very end after it's saved your iFaith SHSH, just exit. Press Home+power for 8-10 second to turn off the phone. Then power back on. You're back to normal
