Iphone 3Gs stuck on blackscreen

Hello guys.. I've got my friends ip3gs to restore it to 4.3.3 but I forgot to save SHSH now my iphone doesnt boot.. it stays on blackscreen when itry to restore with snowbreeze it gives me error 3194.. what can I do please help me..

Was it jailbroken before? Did you notice any green numbers at the top of Cydia's home screen?
Error 3194 occurs because the iOS is not authorized to restore.

Download and run Tiny Umbrella and Save SHSH. Do this with 'get from Cydia' both checked and unchecked.
What SHSH blobs do you have?

Note: Apple is authoriziing 4.1 at the moment. That may be your only option.

no it was clean with at&t card.. but I cant save SHSH because tiny umbrella doesnt recognize the iphone... any other solutions?

If you know the ECID, it can be manually entered in Tiny Umbrella.
Oh yea, USBDeview can extract the ECID while in DFU mode too

If that doesn't work, you could restore to a stock 4.1 since Apple is authorizing it at the moment.
You'll likely receive a iTunes 1014/5 error. TU's 'exit recovery' should bypass that error.

I used redsnow and just boot tethered.. now im on 4.3.3 but cant save SHSH... what can i do?

What do you mean 'can't save SHSH'? Does Tiny Umbrella report an error? Or no SHSH blobs are available?

it goes until the end.. no errors but it doesnt save the 4.3.3 shsh just 4.1 and 4.3.5.. can u tell me how to work with that ecid?

OK. No errors. That's good Don't need the ECID info now because you have the info already.

As expected, the only option is loading 4.1 using my prior instructions.

even that im on ipad basband should I use the stock ipsw or I have to make one with snowbreeze? for 4.1? and after I go 4.1 can I install 4.3.3 then?

With the iPad BB installed, you need a custom firmware + activate option (if no authorized SIM).

Enter pwnd-DFU mode w/Sn0wbreeze, and load cfw w/iTunes.
If iTunes reports and error, use TU's 'exit recovery'

Note: TU is not needed for the restore. Apple is authorizing 4.1
