Having trouble refreshing cydia, Help Plz

When i start up cydia it takes forever to update packages and when i try to refresh the changes it gives me error messages, mostly tell me to run an apt-get updat, which i tried to do but teminal wont let me, i recently got this message after refreshing changes Error: NetDB: Open nodena.. and i dont know wut that means. when i close cydi and re-open it it shows the updated changes list, but thats ***. I recently deleted a few sources, help...plz

What sources did you delete? And what custom sources do you have?

Try rebooting the device and reload Cydia again.
