itunes doesnt recognise iphone 4
i have checked a lot of forums and posts but cant find a solution to this problem.
i synced my phone last week with no problems. this week itunes doesnt even recognise my iphone. windows sees it. itunes only recognises it when i put it into DFU mode.
ive had issues with my iphone recently and wanted to restore but i cant because of this issue. if i attempt to restore to 4.3.3 which im currently on it reaches the "preparing iphone for restore" and brings up error 1611 most of the time. although i have also seen error 3194.
i have uninstalled the apple mobile device and had it reinstalled, checked the apple mobile service which showed as running but stopped and restarted it anyway. updated itunes. attempted to resore through DFU mode. i dont want to attempt to restore and update to 4.3.5 in case i cant downgrade to 4.3.3 because of the same issues.
any help would be much appreciated. im just sick of itunes being unable to just work when nothing has changed since my last sync.
im running windows.
iphone 4 on 4.3.3
itunes version 10.4.0.80
thanks
