invisible mp3's

hey guys
I'm looking in /private/var/mobile/Media/iTunes Control/Music and ive got about 40 folders
but no mp3's. I got winscp to search *.mp3 still nothing and yet I can play over 150 tacks from the phone. Its not like they are invisible there just not there, if I copy the folders over theres no size to them. (obviously I have checked the show hidden files)
Any Ideas?
