Possible to buy an app in app store without leaving credit card on file?

I want to buy 1 app from the app store, but I don't want to leave my debit card on file on the account (it's just too easy to buy other stuff in the app store, and I don't think I'm going to buy anything else). Is it possible to buy that through itunes somehow without saving my debit card? Can I just add my card to make a purchase and then somehow remove it from my appleid?
