Strange, reception bars have stopped working???

OK, I have an iphone 4, custom pwned firmware 4.3.3 sim free bought direct from apple on release day. A couple of weeks ago I bought an ipad2 wifi and thought I would have a play with tethering through mywi. while mywi was installing it got upset, threw it's dummy out and uninstalled what did install. but then after a reboot my signal bars stay on 1 bar???? I still have reception and everything works ok just no bars. Installing Ultrasn0w does bring them back but I was hoping someone might know of a fix for this? Crag.

Why would u use custom firmware when you are on a sim free phone???
If you are on wrong baseband 4.3.x shows no reception. Did you try restoring?

Don't think it's got anything to do with my baseband, basically, mywi did something to my reception bars only and yes tried a restore. If I SSH or Funbox into my phone, does anyone know what files to check for maybe???? see if mywi deleted something or changed something?

It's a trial download then 20bucs but like I said it didn't install right.

Try install it fully again and see if signal bars are ok - if not - then uninstall again and see.?

If the iPhone BB version does not match the default BB version of the installed iOS the 0-1 signal bar appears. The latest Ultrasn0w fixes this.
