iPhone 3GS fails to connect to WiFi

I recently purchased a WiFi router for my home internet connection. My laptop connects to the WiFi network all fine, but iPhone fails to do so.

I have applied 64 bit encryption for connecting to WiFi network. My iPhone 3GS detects the network and when i try to connect to it asks for a key. On entering the key (i do enter the correct key) it shows "Unable to join the network "WiFi"".

Strange thing is that when i turn the 64 bit encryption off, then the phone connects to the network all fine.

Problem lies only when there is key used for connecting.

Any help?

Modem Firmware : 06.15.00
Note: Phone is unlocked and jailborken

Nevermind. I changed my router settings. The Key used earlier was of WEP type. Changed it to WPA2 and it works now.
