been on 5.0 for 2 days, couple questions

Hey guys, just got the phone about 2 days ago and I immediately upgraded to 5.0. I know this is still in beta, but I have a few questions:

-anyone else having issues logging into GMAIL? on both the phone and iTunes 10.5 (to get contacts). seems like it doesn't want to accept the password, no matter how many times you try

-is the notification volume like 10 times louder than the ringer volume? no matter how soft I have the ringer, the notification volume is still super loud

-Do you guys think it's better to be on a JB pre-5.0? or stay at the current beta5?

-Would it be possible to downgrade FW to JB?

all this is currently on iPhone 4

To be honest I think any problems or bugs that people are experiencing on iOS 5 is due to it being in beta You could try a clean restore to see if it alleviates the problem, meaning don't restore from a backup after restoring; but if not, you might consider going back down to 4.x.
