What IF ?

Hi All,
itunes is asking me to update to 4.3.3 (Or something like that) I have an older version (Cant remember which one) I THINK 3.1.3
IF I do update will it negate my Jailbreak ?

if you update it will take away your jailbreak.... you can always jailbreak 4.3.3 with redsn0w

BUT if you're using the phone on another carrier like T-mobile and you need a specific baseband then DO NOT update....

you dont have to pay for a jailbreak.... its all available online for free.

use youtube and look up "How to jailbreak ios 4.3.3 and someone will have posted a tutorial on how to do it.

Its basically

1) download redsn0w
2) Get iphone ispw. (the update file... google it)
3) load ispw into redsnow
4)put phone in DFU mode (you tube it)
5) wait as it jailbreaks....
6) enjoy

The above steps is assuming you've done the upgrade to stock 4.3.3 already. Only do it if you're not needing to unlock and use on another carrier besides AT&T.
