Iphone Battery Life

Hi,

Lizardwolf here. I'm new. I have this Iphone 4 on 4.3.3 firmware (brand new).
I would like to know if this Phone battery is in good condition. I fully charged it, It's in standby mode yet it lost about 16% percent with wi-fi on.
Usage time: 39 Minutes
Standby : 5 Hours

Sometimes when I have it fully charged and yet it loses half of the charge overnight ( wi-fi on). When new, I think even in standby mode it kept the charge for days. Is this normal?

My iPhone 4's battery sucks too. Just the way it goes.

Sounds typical to me. WiFi, GPS, 3G all drain the battery fairly quickly. It goes with the territory.

Try shutting down your running apps. Alot of them continue to run in the background and drains battery life....also turn off wi-fi while not using it

Even when I play music, for example, yesterday I noticed every 3 songs, it sucked 1 % of battery. This doesn't seem realistic.
Battery Magic app suggested it can play music for 39 hrs, is that true?
Last time Stats,
Usage time: 2 Hrs 13 min (no heavy app used at all - only wifi on)
Standby: ~ 18 hrs

Is this normal? Did apple design Iphone's to be daily charged??
