Default iPhone iOS 4.3.3 wifi and gsm signal in dBm

I know if you install sbsettings in the options for the app, under system options, there is a way to display signal strength in the raw numbers (it shows up as a negative number in the status bar) rather than the slightly less useful bars that show up when not jailbroken.

however, the problem with it is that if you tap anywhere where the number is, it reverts back to the bars. if you tap it again, it changes back to a number.
How can i make it so that it pernamently stays as numeric signal? thanks

    • Dial *3001#12345#* into your phone.

Done. The signal bars will be replaced with a number (like -85). The more negative the number, the worse the signal is. Example: -110 is worse than -85. Once activated, you can switch between signal bars and number by touching on the number.
