First USED iPhone purchase!
Hello everyone!
I am buying a used iPhone 4 (locked to Fido) from a local buyer via meet-up (cash sale).
I will do a standard inspection (check that everything functions, such as: 3G, Wi-Fi, etc.)
Is there anything in particular that I should look out for before handing over the money?
Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Check the IMEI and make sure it isn't stolen.

How can I check that it was not stolen? I know I can check warranty via Apple's website... would I have to call Apple? Would I be able to change it so that it is under my name once bought?

You cannot change it but all you have to do is either use your current phone if you have data and use Apple's website to see if it is not stolen. Are you going to use it for Fido?

it will only come up stolen if it has been reported stolen. if the phone works then it hasnt been reported stolen
