Default Is it just me, or does this iCloud thing sound like a huge invasion of privacy?

Your whole phone basically being backed up on the daily to this 'cloud' that's just stored on Apples servers? Sounds to me like things can easily be compromised and snooped upon. No thanks.

Think about any kind of web based email such as yahoo or gmail... everything is stored on their servers. This isn't any more or less invasive IMO. I sync my contacts with Google Contacts... Apple can host all my music files... nothing shady there

I guess you're right. I'll pass on it, though. I'd rather backup my entire phone to my computer than just a portion of my phone in this cloud.
