I am going to buy an iphone 4 that has never been jailbroken or unlocked , it is running the orange network on firmware 4.2.1 baseband 03.10.01

My simcard is vodafone network
Can this phone be jailbroken and unlocked to work with my network?
Just need to confirm this before i hand over the money..

It can be jailbroken but not unlocked by software.

You can either use a gevey sim to unlock it or call the carrier it is locked to to see if they will unlock it for you.
