Hey everyone,
I just bought a new laptop and I would like to sync my iPhone to it.

Thanks in advance! If I helped you in any way, please click on the

Have you move all your itunes libraries, photos etc. to the new laptop?

Yes you can
Just let iTunes pop up and select contacts to sync first. When it asks, select merge (make sure have outlook setup properly). Then select transfer purchases to copy apps from iPhone to laptop. Then sync apps. That's it. You're good to go. Any queries, mail me on [email protected]

Well you weren't very specific. If it is just contacts and app data that you are looking to save then what muntaha said "should" be fine. You will have to authorize the new computer with your account when transferring your purchases.

Ya, contacts arent a big issue at all. You should sync them to your computer (outlook/windows contacts/address book etc) for backup purposes. Or even sync them to something like mobileme or google contacts.

Just use itunes to sync them to windows contacts. Thats the easiest way to back them up.

Hey. A couple of months ago I moved from a Vista PC to an iMac. I was dreading this move thinking I'd lose stuff. In the end I used CopyTrans TuneSwift. I was amazed. Didn't lose a thing. Even the info within Apps, like Readdle Docs, remained.
