Vibration Bug??

Ok, as we all know, when 4.3 came, the iphone began vibrating twice in a row after receiving a text. this is NOT what this post is about. my issue is that if i don't respond to that text my phone will vibrate a second time as a "reminder" i'm assuming. this would make perfect since if there was an option to disable this, but i've yet to find it. thus, i'm assuming this is a bug of some sort. i hadn't updated my phone since 4.1 until now so i'm not sure if i missed something down the line but hopefully somebody has some insight. i use irealsms and am currently on 4.3.2 with my iphone 4

There is a setting in settings under messages where you can set the amount of times it alerts you.
