Custom bootlogos not supported on iPod touch 4g

Should be able to install them. Just install animate from cydia and the boot logo you want and activate in settings app.

You can get animated boot logos it depends what jailbreak program you use like

User info says 4.1 jb, is that accurate OP? You'll need to be on 4.2.1 or higher to have animated boot logos as that was when it was first introduced. You'll find that Greenpois0n is probably the easiest method of jailbreak on 4.2.1 that will also get you the animated boot logo.

You can put custom boot logos download a boot logo and go to settings and go on the boot thingy it works if you enable the feature

If he has 4.2.1 or higher (like annie mentioned)then that would work otherwise he's gotta update for boot logos.

I think you can ssh in to do it but I'm not 100% sure if it it works on 4.1. It does require some ssh and stuff but I'm thinking it needs 4.2.1 and up. I'm iffy. I just think it would be easier just to go to 4.2.1 anyway to do it with a jb tool.
