Is there a chance that BB 05.16.02 can be unlocked?

I am stuck on jailbroken(Redsn0w) 3gs 4.3.2 with bb 05.16,02. I want it unlock so that I can use local carrier when I go out of the country but I am hesitant to use the one way street with iPad bb.

Will there be chance in the future that it can be unlocked without the use of iPad baseband?

Any idea if somebody is working on it?

I read an article bout someone working on i4 bb that aren't unlock able right now. Maybe they might port them over ya never know.

I had the same problem before,
I was too afraid to flassh the bb to ipad bb 06.15, they said u'll lose ur gps,

but I cant live without my iphone,haha
eventually i change the bb to 06.15

the happiest thing is, my gps still work,

i dun know y,but they said some has function gps after use this bb and some are not,

Greed for money tells AT&T not to unlock it.

There are gps apps that will not work with it. I don't know what apps though. I don't wanna get stuck with it if there will be some better upgrade in the future. I will wait for another 2-3 months and if no unlock will come out, then I will try the ipad bb.
